Try working in different trucking companies. You can work 5 days a week, 2 days on 1 off,6 days a week, 4 days a week, night shifts, 4 days on 4 days off, and much more. This will make you more productive in your personal goal because you have more control of your schedule.

- Mindfulness in the Job- Mindfulness is the state of getting in a position where we are focused on one thing and are free from distraction. Some techniques are listening to podcasts, audiobooks, etc. We wanted to get in that state but one can’t sit for hours and focus? Driving allows you to do that. Thinking and planning about certain things, listening, talking for hours, and getting paid to do that is the cream on the cake.

- Health-conscious – Opposite to the contrary belief trucking is a very comfortable job. You have a fixed time to drive, and a fixed time to sleep and eat. This will help you in a long run to stay disciplined. With this discipline and time, you can also pursue your hobbies. Most drivers think that it is so hard for the body to drive for days. Always remember your trucking company never and can’t force you to work longer than the legal time limit.
- Less commute – We all wish to get rid of the daily commute to work. Although the Truck industry is driving all day, you save time daily not having to get ready, go to work, come from work, etc. Resulting in more time and money in your pocket daily.

- Community- In trucking, you will join people who treat you like family because your job is essential to work to run the economy. Everyone wanted you to drive safely without taking any risks. Employers and other companies respect you cause of your driving. We all earn to belong to some community and trucking allows you to do that.
Trucking is a job that got so many pros and so less cons. But it got its downsides too. Nothing is perfect in this world. A few cons of trucking are- that sometimes it feels so hard to pass time while driving, You can’t go to work feeling dizzy so you always need eight hours of sleep before the shift. Sometimes there is a longer wait due to harsh weather.
It is not like you should change your carrier today to earn more. You have to find your flow, where you feel more comfortable and have an interest. This will help in the long run live in a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
